Custom Built Vans
To us the ideal campervan is functional, stylish and durable. Building a custom van is much like building a new home. There are water, electrical, heating, and cooling systems that need to be spec’d, designed, and built for your desired use. On top of that we work with you to design a functional and aesthetically pleasing space that you will enjoy being in.
The Process
Introductions, Scope, and Estimate
INTRO CALL – It’s important that we take a few minutes to get to know each other and what you want in your van. After you contact us one of our staff will reach out to set up an introduction call. During the call we’re able to get a general scope of your conversion and provide a ballpark estimate of the work to be done. If everyone is in agreement that the ballpark and the scope are set then we move onto a detailed estimate.
DESIGN ESTIMATE MEETING– Our next call or meeting will be a one to two hour call where we go through every part and detail of your project. From this call we will be able to provide you with the price of your build. Pricing out a custom camper van is no small feat and requires several hours of work to capture all the details, therefore we charge $150 for a detailed estimate. Ultimately, this payment will be deducted from the cost of your project.
DEPOSIT – We require a $2000 deposit to hold your spot in our schedule. This payment will be applied to the balance of your build.
Design Meeting
This is where the process gets really fun. 90 Days before the start of your build we will meet with you to have the final design meeting. In this meeting we will decide the colors and finishes in your van, finalize the layout and cabinetry, and add or remove components that you’ve dreamed up since our last chat. After this meeting we will be able to provide you with a floor plan and 3D renderings of your build. We will then finalize the estimate and invoice for parts and materials. (typically 50% of the total estimate)
Build Start Date and Updates
On average it takes us 8-12 weeks to build a custom van. We ask that you have the van delivered to us a week before your build start date. We like to maintain close communication throughout your build with weekly updates and photos to keep you involved in the project. Four to six weeks into your project we will invoice for 50% of the remaining balance. As we get closer to completion of your project we will work with you to schedule your van pickup.
New-Van Day and Beyond
It’s Here! New-Van Day! Please plan to spend a couple hours with us to walk through your new van and the systems installed. Our intention is to send you off prepared and educated. Along with this demonstration you will receive a user guide and and manuals provided by component manufacturers.
Any remaining balance will need to be paid in full before heading out.

Full Build FAQ
Our next availability for a full build is Fall/Winter 2022. For partial work and component installs, we can usually get you in within 2-4 weeks. With that said, there’s always exceptions in our schedule due to cancellations or delayed dealer deliveries.
A full build takes 8-12 weeks from when your van arrives at our facility.
Our average price for a full build is $60-80k. The price of your build is dependent on features, finishes and selected components.

We do not currently sell vans. However, we have many resources available to help you locate and purchase a van. Just ask!
We offer a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty on our craftsmanship and materials. Components such as fans, fridges and electrical items are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty restrictions. In the event that you have a problem with any of these items, we are here to help you get it sorted out.
